Designer: Signed Vendome. Pat. 280950. Vendome was one of the Coro company's top of the line costume jewelry and was one of the most famous manufacturers of costume jewelry in the mid twentieth century.

The center of these breathtaking Vendome vintage crystal designer earrings has a large, heavily faceted, brilliant sapphire blue crystal bead. It is surrounded by more sparkling blue sapphire crystal beads of various sizes. To further add grandeur, pastel blue Aurora Borealis crystals and etched goldtone leaves are also used forming a gorgeous rossette domed to 1/2" tall! Such jeweled galore is mounted to a double layered goldtone filigree base. These profoundly beautiful Vendome vintage crystal earrings are in an extremely rare mint condition as if they have been sitting in a vault all these years. They don't seem to have been worn. The clip backs have screw mechanism to adjust for comfort. This type of screw clips was designed by Markus Jellinek and patented in 1946. However, these earrings were made in the 50's era. These exquisite Farrah Fawcett dangle drop vintage earrings were made in the early 1990's by MLF Enterprises. The iconic famous actress, Farrah Fawcett, along with Elam and the Knickerbockers founded MLF Enterprises in late 1989. Farrah Fawcett jewelry collection was sold at HSN in the early 1990's. Her jewelry usually came in a Farrah Fawcett cream colored velvet box with her name imprinted in gold color on the white silky lining of the box. This pair of Farrah Fawcett earrings was acquired from an estate of a socialite who collected Farrah Fawcett jewelry. It is still in the original box. They are bezel set in bright goldtone metal. The large center oval stone measures 3/4" x 1/2". The large teardrop stone measures 5/8" x 3/8". Designer: Signed CARNEGIE. The Hattie Carnegie Company operated between 1917 and 1970. Carnegie began designing jewelry to complement her dress designs which attracted the rich and famous. Her designs did not follow the trend of the time to simulate real jewels but instead showed tremendous originality.

These magnificent signed Hattie Carnegie earrings are a book piece! They are featured in Collectible Costume Jewelry by Cherri Simonds on Page 119. These spectacular Carnegie earrings epitomize the elegance of chandelier designs! Hanging from a sparkling faceted large round clear rhinestone is a sumptuous chandelier which has a triangular group of six prong set faceted glitzy round clear rhinestones at the top with three tiers of exquisite diamond-shape crystal prisms hanging from below. In between the prisms are two circular bright silvertone discs encrusted with more prong set glistening clear rhinestones from which the gorgeous prisms are hung, so that whichever way the chandelier turns, you'll see glittering crystals with endless sparkles.
