Size: Length: 1 5/8". Width: 1" at the widest point.
Designer: Signed MIRIAM HASKELL IN BLOCK LETTER ON OVAL PLATE. PAT. NO. 3176475. Miriam Haskell made high end jewelry since 20's. Her costume jewelry is the collectible of the collectibles. Most of her pieces were signed from the 1940's onward.

Hanging from a filigree wired floret is an old coin depicting beautifully a lady from the Royal Court of the Victorian era. On the reversed side is an eloborate Royal Emblem that has the Crowns of the King and Queen of England and two eagle wings spreading out. The front of the coin is imprinted with R.IMP.HU.PO.REG on one side and the other side is M.THERESIA.D.G. The reversed side of the coin is imprinted with BURG CO.TYR.1780.X on one side and the other side is ARCHID.AVST.DUX.The Patent No. 3176475 dates this rare Miriam Haskell earrings back to the 60's.
