Designer: Marked 1/20 12K GF ON SILVER.

Exquisite rose brooch for your sweetheart! This gorgeous brooch has two gold tones and a rivet construction. The two roses are rose gold and the leaves are yellow gold. It is gold filled and marked 1/20 12K GF on silver. Gold filled does not mean it is filled with gold. It means that the top and bottom sheets are gold sandwiching a sheet of silver in between so that the metal touching your skin is gold. The mark 1/20 12K GF dates the piece to the 40's era when base metal was used for the war effort and was substituted by silver. 1/20 means that 1/20 of the entire weight of the piece is 12K. This spectacular brooch radiant brightly. It is not only a profoundly beautiful piece of wearable art, you are wearing a piece of jewelry history close to your heart.
