Designer: Signed MIRIAM HASKELL on an oval cartouche. Miriam Haskell made high end jewelry since 20's. Her costume jewelry is the collectible of the collectibles. Most of her pieces were signed from the 1940's onward.

The design of this beautiful Miriam Haskell vintage brooch can be interpreted as a star or a cross. It has two layers of Haskell's famous open work filigree gilt brass. The star or cross is accented by a lovely reflective blue glass cabochon in a scallop mounting. Then, adorned by four red glass cabs on the four sides. The brass double rolo chains further add style, charm, movement and lend an antiquity feel to the piece. Excellent condition.
