The two-layered gorgeous rosette is then further mounted to yet another gilt brass edged base and also to a gilt brass filigree flower base where the famous Miriam Haskell horseshoe signature plaque is embossed. Designer: Signed ©. Sarah Cov. Sarah Coventry received its name from Charles H. Stuart, the founder of Emmons Home Fashion. Sarah was named after his grand daughter where as Emmons was named after his wife, Caroline Emmons. The mark for "Emmons" was first used in 1948 and Emmons was incorporated in February of 1949, with Sarah Coventry coming into being, November of the same year. They started their business under home fashion shows and maintained the way they did business until 1984, and were sold to a Chicago based firm who produced jewelry for a Canadian company using the same name. Sarah Coventry continued making fine jewelry with precious gemstones under P&B Manufactures. The home shows were discontinued in 1984.

I absolutely adore the swirly configuration of this superb Sarah Coventry necklace and how the beautiful swirly pieces curving over the glitzy clear rhinestones adorning the neck with tremendous gold shimmer. The rest of the necklace has high polished golden rectangular cubes alternating with two glittering round cut clear rhinestones in each section. A rare gorgeous design you don't want to miss! Her designs did not follow the trend of the time to simulate real jewels but instead showed tremendous originality.

Hattie Carnegie crystal clear, brilliantly sparkling rhinestone, glass droplet faux pearl and swirled baroque faux pearl necklace! This stunning adornment is heavy due to the high end glass faux pearls used and the silver toned, very shiny setting is marked Hattie Carnegie at the clasp end on an oval plaque! There is a bit of wear to the necra finish at the tops of some of the pearl droplets. It is an extraordinary piece and measures 16 3/4" long with the center fringe measuring 3 3/4" long! Designer: MARKED Hobe. Hobe has been in business since the late 1800s, rich in jewelry history and it seems to be a family tradition. The jewelry items they created in the early years were of museum quality even though they were Costume jewelry. They were considered good enough for queens. Hobe quit manufacturing jewelry sometime in 1992.

Filgree capped pearly moonstone beads and clear rhinestone rondells are strung by thin yet sturdy silver metal chains. Each rhinestone rondell has a hand painted white cap on each side. A lot of tender loving care has put into creating this beauty. This gorgeous necklace exudes a Russian flair. Very collectible and incredibly beautiful. Excellent condition.
