Designer: Signed CARNEGIE. The Hattie Carnegie Company operated between 1917 and 1970. Carnegie began designing jewelry to complement her dress designs which attracted the rich and famous. Her designs did not follow the trend of the time to simulate real jewels but instead showed tremendous originality.

These magnificent signed Hattie Carnegie bridal earrings are a book piece! They are featured in Collectible Costume Jewelry by Cherri Simonds on Page 119. These spectacular Carnegie earrings epitomize the elegance of chandelier designs! Hanging from a sparkling faceted large round clear rhinestone is a sumptuous chandelier which has a triangular group of six prong set faceted glitzy round clear rhinestones at the top with three tiers of exquisite diamond-shape crystal prisms hanging from below. In between the prisms are two circular bright silvertone discs encrusted with more prong set glistening clear rhinestones from which the gorgeous prisms are hung, so that whichever way the chandelier turns, you'll see glittering crystals with endless sparkles. Truly breathtaking indeed! These rare beauties are one of Hattie Carnegie most sought after pieces. Clip backs. Near mint condition.
