This gorgeous estate vintage necklace has multiple strands of genuine shimmering fresh water pearls dotted with royal blue lustrous round lapis beads. Sixteen strands on each side, a total of 32 strands! The center has a huge solid barrel shaped lustrous stone (a whooping 2" x 1 1/4"!) enameled with flowers in Oriental art form. This beautiful and unusually large stone not only adds a strong Oriental flair to the piece, it sets this estate necklace apart from the norm and takes it to a new stylish height. The exquisite 3/4" x 3/8" ornate gold filigree insert clasp is marked 14 KG. An outstanding heirloom piece. Excellent condition.
